With a slot supporting Circa Waves under his belt and a debut album on the cards, Boniface is certainly one to watch out for as he rises through the ranks of upcoming alt-pop artists. The latest single, ‘Wake Me Back Up’, is a catchy piece of synth-pop which blends its distinct keyboard parts with the guest lead guitars of Blaenavon’s Ben Gregory, while the video that comes alongside the tune (filmed in the same garage it was written in) shows off the bands quirky look. Of this release, Boniface says “Wake Me Back Up is about feeling you’re on the brink of something significant. In my case it was a relationship, but it could be anything that feels important to you right now.
